Lifestyles and their relationship to psychological immunity among Mosul University students

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the most common lifestyles and at the level of psychological immunity and the relationship between lifestyles and psychological immunity among the students of the University of Mosul. Wheeler et al. 1986) As for measuring psychological immunity, a scale was prepared that includes three dimensions (psychological hardness, spiritual orientation, and positive thinking). The statistical bag was relied upon in data processing. The results concluded that the highest common method among university students is (surrender). Followed by the (approval seeker) style, followed by the (social belonging) style. The least common style was the (harmful) style, and the t-value calculated for each of the (social belonging), (victim), (approval seeker), (controller), and ( The spoiled), (the avenger) and (the harmful) were indicative, and all of them were in favor of males, and there were no differences between the students of the first grade and the students of the fourth grade. And that the t-value calculated for the style (belonging to the social) was a function and in favor of scientific specialization, and the t-value calculated for my style
(The victim) and (the seeker of approval) were a function in favor of the human specialization, and the level of psychological immunity was high among university students, but it was higher for males than for females, in favor of the first grade, and there were no significant differences according to the academic specialization among university students, while the correlation coefficient was It was indicative of all styles except for the styles of (the spoiled) and (the avenger). Many recommendations and proposals were presented, including holding counseling courses for university students in order to raise awareness and develop healthy lifestyles, and conduct studies dealing with the relationship between research variables and some other variables such as mental alertness, cognitive agility, parental treatment methods, academic reluctance, and other variables.
