Diversity of clay coloring techniques in contemporary ceramics

Abstract

       The research deals with some types of contemporary techniques through which it is possible to obtain a ceramic surface colored with clays by using colored clays either with color oxides or pigments or the color of natural clay, and is integrated into the ceramic work in different ways, which resulted in innovative ceramic works with visual excitement that achieved great success at the level of ceramic art, and the research may consist of four chapters, the first chapter is the structure of the research, which contained the research problem and has been formulated with the question:  What are the most important techniques (clay coloring) in contemporary ceramics? The second chapter, which consists of the theoretical framework and previous studies, has included two sections, the first topic: the color show of clays in ceramics, the second section, an introduction to contemporary ceramics, as well as the indicators that resulted from the theoretical framework, the research has put forward the previous study, which approached and moved away from our current study in a number of points, while the third chapter included research procedures, which contained the research community and its samples, the research method, the research tool, and the analysis of the samples ( 4), and the fourth chapter contained the results of the research and its conclusions.
