Continuous Assessment Skills of Arabic Language Teachers in Intermediate Stage

Abstract

The current research aims to identify the "Continuous Assessment Skills of Arabic Language Teachers in the Intermediate Stage". To achieve the research objective, the descriptive method was followed as it is appropriate for the research objective. The researcher randomly selected(38) male and female teachers for the fourth grade intermediate level from a total of(190)male and female teachers in the research community, representing(20%).The teachers were distributed among(38)intermediate and secondary schools belonging to the educational directorates center in Baghdad (Al-Karkh 1 | 2 | 3 - Al-Rusafa 1 | 2 | 3). The researcher used the random sampling method to select(38)intermediate and secondary schools as a representative sample of Arabic language teachers (applied research sample), The researcher prepared an observation card for the continuous assessment skills that included four areas and( 20)indicators indicating the skill. The researcher used appropriate statistical methods to extract the research results, which showed that Arabic language teachers have a moderate level of pedagogical performance in their classroom communication skills.
