Abstract

  Iran witnessed a wave of revolutionary movements during the reign of Muhammad Reza Shah, such as the revolutionary movements in Azerbaijan and Kurdistan. In Azerbaijan, the national movement flourished, but in Iranian Kurdistan, the situation did not differ from what happened in Azerbaijan, as the arbitrary policy of Muhammad Reza Shah towards the Kurds generated great resentment among them, so the intellectuals founded The Kurds (Ihya al-Kurd Association), and as a result, the Iraqi government followed the development of events in Iran, reflecting the extent of the Iraqi concern that resulted from that development. Of the revolutionary movements, some parties supported those movements, and others considered that an attempt to invade the communist tide in the region, and the Iraqi press expressed its great concern about the spread of revolutionary movements in northern Iran, and it is worth noting that the evaluation of Iranian events in general by the Iraqi public opinion did not It is nothing but evidence of the maturity of the stage that the Iraqi national movement has reached and the Iraqi people's realization of their responsibilities. They interacted with the Iranian events and presented themselves with the task of understanding what is going on.
