Abstract
The eastern Mediterranean region is considered one of the most promising regions in the production of energy sources, as it has gained great importance due to the huge discoveries of reserves of energy sources, and countries have begun to accelerate their steps to reach this region, which is witnessing intense competition between them.
The competition for energy sources in the eastern Mediterranean is characterized by great overlap and multiplicity of parties between regional and international powers, especially if the subject of competition is to obtain energy sources, which is the strategic commodity that all countries of the world seek to obtain in order to continue the sustainability of life and development processes in them
