Abstract

The study of Arab Muslim historians is considered one of the most important historical studies because it contributes to revealing an episode of the nation’s intellectual heritage, and identifying the features of Arab-Islamic history. Thus, this study consolidates the method of Arab historical research. The importance of this study comes from the fact that Muhammad bin Abd al-Moneim al-Himyari was one of the The most prominent figures in Arab geographical thought, as this research sheds light on his biography, the opinions of historians about him, and the approach he followed in preparing his book, as he followed a scientific approach that was distinguished by its simplicity and clarity of style.
