Self-monitoring of educational counselors

Abstract

The research aims to identify the self-monitoring of educational counselors. The research sample was educational counselors according to (sex, length of service, and social status) in Diyala Governorate, amounting to (400) male and female counselors. The researcher built a scale consisting of (30) items with five alternatives and conducted it. Apparent honesty and reliability and by the method of re-testing and extracting the Pearson correlation coefficient, the results reached the following:


1-There is a difference in self-monitoring according to gender in favor of females.


2-There is no difference in self-monitoring according to the length of service variable.


3- There is no difference in self-monitoring according to the social status variable
