The Effect of Competitive Exercises Using The Educational Stations Method on Learning Some Defensive Skills In Indoor Soccer For Students
Main Article Content
Abstract
Recently, many and varied efforts have emerged to find modern means to learn and develop basic skills using technology to perform the skill, which leads to consolidating and deepening the learner's experiences and also helps to receive and understand the detailed parts of the movement well. Since the researcher specializes in this game and is interested in indoor football, they noticed a weakness in some defensive skills. The researcher used the experimental method to suit the nature of the research and adopted this method by designing the experimental and control groups equivalent to the second-grade middle school students in the Martyr Shaalan Intermediate School in Diyala Governorate / Al-Khalis District, for the academic year 2024-2025, The research community was (50) students, and the research sample for the experiment was (30) students, representing (60%).
of the original community. They were selected randomly, where they were divided by lottery into two experimental and control groups, with (12) students for each group. (6) students were selected from the original research community to conduct exploratory experiments on them and were excluded from the main experiment, as the researcher prepared The design of competitive exercises using the educational stations method, the educational units were distributed over (8) consecutive weeks at a rate of (2) educational units per week to learn to perform a quarter of basic skills (cutting the ball, pushing the ball away, scattering the ball). After completing the experiment, the results were processed using the statistical package system (SPSS). In order to complete the requirements of the experimental design, the researcher did not conduct the homogeneity process because the research sample was homogeneous in age and height. Practicing and failing students who had a medical report were excluded, and the research sample was conducted on equal ages. The researcher also conducted the equivalence process in tests of some defensive skills. We reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which were the following: The educational stations method in competitive exercises contributed effectively to learning some defensive skills in indoor soccer for students and the development of the experimental and control groups in the post-tests. The researcher attributes the reason for the development in the use of the educational stations method and the diversity in the use of exercises
