Abstract
The current research focuses on enhancing the designing vocabulary and/or elements and their aesthetic reflections on the structure of the contemporary، graphic work (the logos of the sport clubs as an example). The problem of the research and its importance are determined in the methodological framework of the research، in addition to the purpose of the research in studying the enhancement of the designing vocabulary and elements and their aesthetic reflections on the structure of the contemporary، graphic work (the logos of the sport clubs as an example). The time limits of the research cover the logos of the Iraqi sport clubs during the period from 1931 till 1970، because these years include the designs of the official logos of the Iraqi sport clubs that have been chosen for studying the reality of the design of these logos in the current research، whereas the spatial limits of the research are the Republic of Iraq (the logos of the Iraqi sport clubs as an example). Afterwards، the terminology of the research is specified. The theoretical framework contains two topics. The first one deals with the study of the constructive units of the logos’ design of the Iraqi sport clubs. The second topic studies the expressive، communicative indications of the sign within the structure of the contemporary، graphic work. The procedures of the research show the limits of the community of the research; three samples have been chosen for analysis as the research's examples. The researcher depends on an analysis form in analyzing the sample of the research. The researcher has prepared the form according to what the theoretical framework reveals concerning the research inductions. The researcher reaches many outcomes that are shown in the findings' section of the study.
1-Employing the photographic pictures and drawings in designing the sport logo affects clearly the visual reflection of the logo in the audience’s mind.
2-The employment of the writing elements contributes to the clarity and readability of sport logo’s title for the audience.
Finally، the academic resources that the researcher used in the current research are listed، The researcher also reached that following conclusion:
1- The designer relies on employing designing relations in the process of merging, constructing, and penetrating the shape and color elements of the design. This fact has a great influence in giving the feeling of shape and color enhancement in the structure of the sport logo's design.
2- Using types of Arabic calligraphy in writing the title of the logo as suitable to the logo's content and idea in a way that visually attracts the recipient and helps in understanding and interpreting the content of the logo. and by that the researcher ends her study on enhancing the designing vocabulary and elements and their aesthetic reflections on the structure of the contemporary، graphic work
