Foresightful Reading on the Importance of Preventive Marital Guidance Programs for Engaged Couples in Reducing Family Problems from the Perspective of Spouses

Abstract
Objective: This study aims to explore a foresightful reading on the significance of pre-marital preventative guidance programs in reducing family problems from the perspective of married couples.
Methodology: A qualitative approach was employed. To achieve the study's objectives, interviews were conducted to gather information. The study sample consisted of ten married couples, selected using a purposive sampling method.
Findings: Couples' perspectives confirm that preventative marital guidance programs effectively contribute to building realistic expectations, enhancing communication and conflict resolution skills, and clarifying fundamental issues before marriage. Collectively, these factors significantly reduce the occurrence and escalation of family problems, thereby fostering a more stable and happier marital life.
Conclusion: The study recommends integrating preventative marital guidance programs as an essential requirement or a strong incentive for couples intending to marry, with continuous development of their content to address contemporary family challenges.
