Abstract

The topic "Islamic Motives in the Poetry of the Mukhadramin: A Critical Reading" is one of the topics that sheds light on motives that have not received their due in study and research. Most of these motives were included among the primary purposes of poetry, such as praise and pride.

In this research, I tried to show these motives, and to explain the motivation and occasion for composing these poetic verses, and to clarify the extent of the influence of Islam, the Islamic religion, and the Holy Qur’an on this type of poetry, and the extent and clear influence on its vocabulary, meanings, style, and images. We notice that the poet included in his poetry many words that he borrowed from the Holy Quran. The reader will notice the change and the big difference before Islam, and after the poet entered the Islamic religion, as Islam was a means to refine and refine the poet’s soul thanks to the new rules and instructions it brought.
