Abstract

This research presents a linguistic analysis of the Qur’anic term “Qadar”, exploring its morphological roots and semantic dimensions within the Qur’anic context. The study examines the term in its various grammatical forms—noun, verb, and verbal noun—to uncover its theological and linguistic implications related to divine knowledge, will, and precise determination.Findings reveal that “Qadar”encompasses meanings such as decree, measurement, and predestination, all emphasizing the absolute divine power. Furthermore, the intensive forms “Qadīr” and “Muqtadir” highlight the perfection of God’s omnipotence and omniscience.
