The imperative constructional methods in the poetry of Da’bal Al-Khuza’i (d. 246 AH) - The Ta’iyyah Poem as a Model -

Abstract

    This study dealt with the imperative construction methods of Du’bal Al-Khuza’I, The study adopted the descriptive analytical approach to address it, Because it requires tracing and analyzing these constructional methods and linking each poetic witness to its rhetorical context, Through these methods, Al-Khaza’i was able to penetrate the metaphorical connotations of the poetic text, Which enabled him to express his emotional reactions towards the pure Imams (peace be upon them), Therefore, these methods formed a prominent phenomenon in his Ta’iyyah poem. That is why we decided to study these methods in Al-Khaza’i’s poetry, To realize the extent of the scope of these methods in his poem from the moral and semantic perspective.
