The Dual System in Arabic An Approach in Light of Multiple Linguistic Methods

Abstract

The research presented the view that the saying of the dual in Arabic is a linguistic defect that must be eliminated, as the research responded to this accusation with multiple approaches, and concluded that the saying of the dual in Arabic is a complete (progressive) and refined (uniform ending) saying, and expresses parsing, brevity, and rhythm, and it is not a saying that is new to the system. The linguistic meaning of Arabic is rather pervasive, and one of the clearest manifestations.
