Abstract

The research discusses of fasting outside of the month of Ramadan.
The following section explains the significance of the study, reason for choosing the topic, and the main objectives the research seeks to achieve.
The significance of the research can be summarized as follows:
1 It highlights the breadth Explanation  breadth of Islamic legislation, Fasting in Islam is not limited to the month of Ramadan; rather, it encompasses many aspects, reaching up to forty.



  1. 2. It emphasizes the importance of following the example of the prophets, as the research presents some practices observed by certain prophets in their fasting, serving as an incentive for Muslims to perform this act of worship.
    3 It explains the great reward of fasting on recommended (voluntary) days, especially during the months of Rajab and Shaban.
    The reasons for choosing the topic are based on several considerations, including:
    1 a lack of awareness, among some people who may believe that obligatory fasting takes place only during Ramadan even, though there are other forms of obligatory fasting.     
    2 Clarifying the types of fasting: obligatory, prohibited, and recommended, And detailing the rulings for each type.           
    3 Spreading beneficial knowledge and informing Muslims of the virtues of special days on which fasting is recommended.           
    The objectives that this research seeks to achieve include:    
    1 Raising awareness of the rulings related to obligatory fasting.      
    2 Encouraging Muslims to fulfill their religious duties.         
    3 Using fasting as a moral and educational tool in Islamic societies.
