Abstract

This research examines the role of computers in contemporary digital graphics. Graphic design, an essential art form within visual communication, is a type of design. Design is a vast and creative field, and since ancient times, it has been the language and expression of cultures. It is considered an artistic field, encompassing various aspects from architectural design to graphic design and web design. Therefore, the researcher poses the following question: What is the role of computers in contemporary digital graphics?


The research is divided into four chapters: Chapter One defines the research problem, its significance, objectives, scope, and terminology.


Chapter Two is divided into two sections: Section One: Computers in Graphic Art. Section Two: Digital Art. Chapter Three: Research Procedures, including defining the research population and analyzing the samples. Chapter Four presents the research findings, including:



  1. Modern digital artistic achievements have witnessed a diversification in the methods and mechanisms for projecting irregularity onto organizational structures.

  2. Employing photomontage in a collage style, utilizing digital processing to create focal points for the viewer, as a technique in graphic art.


Conclusions:



  1. A systematic and rational presence of the distribution technique in contemporary graphic art, achieved by breaking artistic rules, laws, and systems.

  2. The contemporary digital graphic art style emerged to express a renewed culture, intended to attract attention, break the monotony, and introduce artistic patterns into the realm of contemporary modernity.
