Abstract
This research presents a critical edition (Tahqiq) of Surah ad-Dukhan from the exegesis titled "Jawami' al-Tabyan fi Tafsir al-Qur'an" by Al-Iji. The study involves a meticulous textual verification and a cross-comparison between available manuscripts to ensure the text remains free from any distortions or scribal errors (Tashif and Tahrif.( Furthermore, the research highlights Al-Iji’s exegetical methodology, which strikes a balance between tradition (Naql) and reason (Aql), while providing a scholarly extraction (Takhrij) of its linguistic and theological implications. The significance of this work lies in reviving a classical heritage text and presenting it to readers through a verified edition based on established scientific standards of manuscript editing.
