Abstract

All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and peace and blessings be upon our trustworthy Prophet Muhammad, and upon his pure family. This research aims to demonstrate the high status and honor bestowed upon women by Islam, elevating their position and granting them complete freedom to manage their own wealth and property. Islam grants women rights that exceed, if not equal, those of men. For example, the right to maintenance is obligatory upon men for the benefit of women, and in further honoring and esteeming them, the dowry is also obligatory for men for their benefit. This research clarifies the terminology related to the title and the research vocabulary, explains the legal sources of women's financial rights and the evidence for their legitimacy, presents some of the relevant legal rulings, and clarifies the extent of women's right to manage their wealth and property according to Islamic legal principles
