Main Article Content
Abstract
This research addresses the evaluation of the spatial and functional efficiency of educational services in Al-Warka District (Al-Aamel neighborhood) in Baghdad for the year 2025, and their compliance with the adopted planning standards. The findings revealed a deficiency in the spatial distribution of school buildings, resulting in a severe shortage in certain residential areas, particularly Area 803, which lacks several educational stages. Conversely, the educational indicators demonstrated high efficiency in the performance of teaching staff and a reduction in the number of pupils per classroom. The study recommends addressing the shortage of school buildings by allocating new lands for the establishment of educational facilities and ensuring the equitable distribution of educational services across all residential areas in )Al-Warka( District.
