Miskawayh's Philosophy of Happiness: A Comparative Analytical Study in Light of Islamic Ethical Thought

Abstract
This research examines the philosophy of happiness in the thought of Miskawayh by analyzing its ethical and intellectual foundations. It highlights the relationship between happiness, virtue, and self-discipline, and compares his views with those of Aristotle and Al-Farabi. The study adopts analytical and comparative approaches and concludes that happiness, according to Miskawayh, is not sensory pleasure but an intellectual and moral state achieved through virtue and moderation.
