Kuwaiti-Sudanese Relations 1961-1964 A Study in the Economic and Political Relations

Abstract
This study, which was designed to highlight the relations between Kuwait and Sudan and follow up on the stages of these relations, whether economic or political, since the independence of Kuwait in 1961 until the end of the rule of Ibrahim Abboud in Sudan in 1964, Between the two countries through the trade movement and the exchange of goods and goods as well as the investment of Kuwaiti capital in Sudan through development projects in the fields of agro-animal and energy projects and water.
Economic relations have been reflected in the political arena. Kuwait has succeeded in ensuring the support of the Sudanese government for the cause of independence through Sudan's vote for Kuwait in accepting the latter as a member of the League of Arab States and the United Nations and sending Sudanese troops to Kuwait to protect them from Iraqi threats.
