Abstract

This research aimed to identify the level of emotional suppression among female students of the College of Education for Girls, University of Al-Qadisiyah. Knowing the statistically significant differences in emotional suppression among female students of the College of Education for Girls, according to the change of specialization (scientific, human). In the mid-term segmentation method, the t-test for two independent samples for the purpose of extracting the differences between females in emotional suppression according to the variable of specialization (scientific, human) and the academic stage, and the current research reached a set of conclusions, including that the students of the College of Education for Girls have high emotional suppression because the calculated T value is higher than The value of the tabular t, and the presence of statistically significant differences between the average degrees of scientific specialization and the degrees of human specialization in the emotional suppression variable. In universities and the interest of teachers in the emotional side of the student through guidance and direction and how to accustom students In controlling their emotions and solving the problems they face correctly, because emotional suppression has an impact on the health and cognitive side.
