The skill of formulating creative questions for teachers of Arabic language for the preparatory stage

Abstract

This research aims to identify the extent to which Arabic language teachers possess (the skill of formulating creative questions for teachers of Arabic language for the preparatory stage).


This research is determined by the male and female Arabic language teachers in middle school day schools in the province of Baghdad, and the researcher chose the Baghdad Education Directorate of Al-Rusafa III intentionally.


The number of Arabic language teachers reached (190) for the academic year (2020/2021). A random sample of (57) male and female teachers was selected at a rate of (30%).


The research tool was a note card in the field of question formulation consisting of (24) paragraphs based on three alternatives for the level of performance (high, medium and weak).


The results showed that male and female Arabic language teachers do not have the skill of formulating creative questions in Arabic language. The researcher recommended the following:1-The necessity of training Arabic language teachers and female teachers on how to formulate questions of different types and classifications.


2- Taking into account the individual differences of the students in formulating the questions.


To complete the research procedures, the researcher suggested the following:


1- Conducting a study similar to this research for teachers of other subjects.


2- Conducting a study similar to this research for other academic stages.
