Abstract

The importance of the subject of noise pollution comes in as a main base for the construction of environmental balanced.

The study of the topic of "spatial variation of contaminating noise in some neighborhoods of the city of Baghdad" has great importance in the detection of noise pollution and distributed spatially and temporally areas in the study area neighborhood (Drag-ur-al amana) through the use of numerous scientific methods, based largely on the study field which included the distribution of (300) questionnaire by (100) form for each neighborhood and distributed randomly, as well as the use of many of the statistical methods that her uncle was to highlight the image of the variation in noise levels within the study area has been relying Ay data and information obtained from State institutions, as well as the use of measuring sound Digital Sound Meter level of Polish Origin device, 995 model, from Savan company with the help of a committee of the Ministry of Environment (noise), which was confirmed through it on an uneven spatial and temporal noise levels of the study area Division.

The study also confirmed on:

• high noise levels measured on the specified levels by the Ministry of Environment (local) and measured from joining the World Health (WHO).


• The lack of balance in an administrative area of study in terms of numbers of families and the population, residential units and the space occupied by each district.


• Frequent Alanctarat in one housing unit, leading to higher prepare families where static and thus increase the noise level.


• Differing cultural and scientific level of each neighborhood of the study area


• .The difference in model construction and the use of building materials is soundproofed so the researcher recommended the following:

1-Commitment permitted specified by the Ministry of Environment and the World Health Organization noise standards.

2-The use of building materials more isolated voice.

3-D oil and gas pipelines to the housing units to prevent the frequency of application navigators.
