Abstract

The aim of the experiment was to study the effect of the basic amalgamation treatment between caustic soda and ammonia on the chemical composition and laboratory digestion of reeds, and to determine the best amalgamation ratio.

(3% NaoH + b (ammonia, the fourth treatment 2 + 3 ammonia, and the fifth treatment (5) ammonia). The results showed a highly significant increase in the amount of cellulose when the chemical treatment (treatments

The four compared to (control) treatment and the presence of highly significant reduction in dry matter and organic matter
