The aesthetics of religious building minarets

Abstract
Decoration in religious buildings is an essential form since the beginning of Islam, such as the mosque of Basra in the time of Ziyad bin Abiyya and the mosque of Wasit during the days of the pilgrims. Which the Muslim artist expressed as an expression of a new spirit and philosophical mentality that has its own impact on the various Islamic arts, moving away from simulating the creatures of nature when he was drawing living beings, so he took decorative elements from them and transformed them from their natural form in order to achieve his purely aesthetic purposes.
