Abstract

It was possible to reach the planning standards for the six basic infrastructures of urban areas (electricity, water, sewage, waste collection and treatment, communications and fuel) through analyzes of the availability and need for a study area (Al-Nasr and Al-Salam district) and within a time series extending up to the year 2030. The research reached planning standards at the level of per capita and spaces, which can be generalized to urban areas within the Baghdad region.
