Air transportation at Baghdad International Airport (a study in the geography of transportation)

Abstract
Air transport is the means by which people and goods are transported from one place to another within the scope of one country or between one country and another, which made it suitable for medium and long distances, which caused spatial interaction between different geographical environments, and thus air transport is the mainstay of economic, social and political life. Air transport at Baghdad International Airport plays a major role in the movement of people and goods due to the development of its capabilities and the regularity of its services at the local or international level, as well as the speed, comfort and safety it provides in the journey, as transportation began in the year (1969) and was developed in the years (1979 and 1982). It was built by French and British companies.
