Psychological hardness and its relationship to compensatory health beliefs among university students

Abstract

The current search goal is to measure the two variables (Psychological rigidity, and compensatory health beliefs) among students of Qadisiyah University  And balance in the two variables (mental rigidity, compensatory health beliefs)  (Male, female) and specialization (scientific, human) in the students of the University of Qadisiyah addition to the nature of the correlation between psychological rigidity and compensatory health beliefs among the students of Qadisiyah University To achieve the objectives of the research two tools were adopted, one to measure the psychological rigidity, and the second to the compensatory health beliefs of university students They have the psychometric characteristics that must be met in building psychological standards such as honesty, persistence and ability to distinguish These tools were applied to a sample of (100) students randomly selected from Qadisiyah University students and from scientific and humanitarian disciplines . After the data were processed statistically, the students were found to have psychological rigidity University students have proven compensatory health beliefs It was also found that there were no statistically significant differences according to gender variable in both: (psychological rigidity and compensatory health beliefs) among university students There were also statistically significant differences in both mental rigidity and compensatory health beliefs according to the variable of specialization (scientific, human) and in favor of scientific specialization and in both variables There was also a positive correlation between psychological rigidity and compensatory health beliefs. The researcher made a number of recommendations and proposals.
