Industrial zones in the Arab Republic of Egypt as a model for industrial settlement

Abstract
The Arab Republic of Egypt was characterized by progress in the field of industry, as the industrial sector occupied an advanced rank in terms of the relative importance of the Egyptian national economy, as it comes at the forefront of the economic sectors in terms of its contribution to the gross domestic product, i.e. about (17.5%) in 2005-2006, as well as Its impact and its intertwining relationship with the production and service sectors.
The year 2007 witnessed, for example, the launch of the strategic project known as the thousand factories for all industrial branches. The Egyptian industry, as an indicator of its progress, was linked to foreign trade, which was an indicator and criterion for its advancement. It was the qualitative leap for the Egyptian economy.
