Abstract

Violence is a phenomenon rooted in societies since the beginning of creation, and its existence is linked to the existence of man on the face of the globe, as humanity has never stopped practicing violence because it is rooted in the human self and a means used by man to achieve various goals and objectives. Most historians and thinkers have agreed that the history of mankind It is the history of violence, as the numbers indicate that during the past 5,500 years, approximately (15) thousand wars and conflicts took place on Earth, at a rate of (2-3) conflicts and wars per year. (8: p. 20) Therefore, violence was used in theater in all its forms and forms to express what exists in these societies, because theater is a mirror that reflects reality in all its aspects, trying to shed light on the most important social problems, including the problem of violence.
