Abstract

In 1914, Iraq became a battlefield for the British as leaders

Basra was occupied on the fourteenth of November of the same year; And then he sent notables
Basra SOS messages to religious references in Najaf, Karbala and Kadhimiya for help
supporting them and standing up to the British advance to protect the sanctities; He sent religious references
with their messages to the tribal sheikhs to work to gather volunteers to defend Basra; As I equipped
The Ottoman Empire, as the occupier of Iraq, had a regular army to defend Iraq, as it was one of the provinces
Country .


The city of Al-Kadhimiya, under the guidance of the references of Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf, prepared to equip an army of
volunteers led by the city's religious scholars; It issued fatwas in support of the jihad movement
As the work of its references, in particular Mr. Mahdi Al-Haidari and Sheikh Mahdi Al-Khalisi
To prepare the Mujahideen, mobilize the clans, and spread enthusiasm in the hearts of the common people; until tomorrow
