Social desirability among female kindergarten students

Abstract

The current research aims to:

• Identifying the social desirability of the kindergarten students.

In order to achieve the objectives of the current research, the researcher selected the research community from the students of the Kindergarten Department _ College of Basic Education / Al-Mustansiriya University. (14) paragraphs for each of them, knowing that the alternatives are five (always, often, sometimes, rarely, never) and take degrees (5, 4, 3, 2, 1) respectively, and the researcher adapted the paragraphs of the scale to suit the objectives of the current research. After extracting the psychometric characteristics of the scale represented by honesty and reliability, the final version of the scale was produced and applied to the main sample, which consisted of (400) female students from the Kindergarten Department. After processing the data statistically, the researcher concluded the following:

• Kindergarten students are characterized by high social desirability.
