Abstract

This research aims to (identify the effectiveness of an educational program according to the linguistic assessment in developing creative reading skills among students in the fifth literary grade), and to achieve the goal of the research, the researcher formulated the null hypothesis (there is no statistically significant difference between the average grades of the students of the experimental group, and the average grades of the students in the experimental group). Control in the pre- and post-test of creative reading skills. The researcher adopted an experimental design with partial control, and the researcher chose the purposive method (Al-Jumhuriya and Al-Thaqalayn preparatory schools for boys) affiliated with the General Directorate of Education of Al-Qadisiyah/Governorate Center for the academic year 2023/2024. In a random manner, he chose Al-Jumhuriya Preparatory School to represent the experimental group, with (32) students, and Al-Thaqalayn Preparatory School for Boys to represent the control group, with (29) students. Thus, the research sample reached (61) students. The researcher began building an educational program according to the linguistic evaluation, and the researcher was rewarded between The students of the two research groups were statistically equal in the variables: chronological age, the linguistic ability test, the academic achievement of the parents, and the pre-test of creative reading. As for the research tool, the researcher prepared a test to measure creative reading skills, which included (24) paragraphs of the type of essay questions, and after conducting the test, they were treated. The data was statistically significant, and the results showed that the students of the experimental group outperformed the students of the control group.
