Abstract
The study aimed to determine the level of linguistic security among university students, and the researcher followed the descriptive approach.
To achieve the goal of the research, the research sample consisted of students at Al-Mustansiriya University / College of Basic Education and included (200) male and female students. The researcher adopted a linguistic security scale with three alternatives: ( always applies, somewhat applies, does not apply ) , and constructed the e-learning scale, and the number of items was Each of them (25) items also had three alternatives, ( always, sometimes, rarely ) and was presented to the experts. The researcher extracted the psychometric properties of the tool, which are: (validity, reliability, and internal consistency). The researcher applied the scale and used statistical methods (Pearson correlation coefficient,... Cronbach's alpha, weighted mean), and the results resulted in: that (The research sample) has linguistic security in a statistically significant manner (The research sample) has e-learning in a statistically significant way. The researcher recommended a number of recommendations and proposals.
