The philosophy of dialogue and its importance according to the contemporary Islamic perspective

Abstract

The importance of the research lies in the fact that people differ in their religions in the view of Islam, which is a natural matter; due to the difference in their minds, perceptions and principles of their upbringing. Therefore, the Holy Quran shows that it is a law that has been passed on to all creatures. Despite this difference in religions and beliefs, this does not require the isolation of Muslim society from other societies; because it is called to get to know and meet with all people, and to convey God's call and message, which leads to the mixing of Muslim society with other different societies; So how does Islam deal with these people? And how does it rule over them if they inhabit its lands and prefer to coexist with Muslims under the rule of Islam? .

The aim of the research is that dialogue is to present an opinion, present a belief and provide evidence for it, then listen to the presentation of the other, his belief and his evidence, in order to clarify the truth and establish the argument, in an atmosphere dominated by calm, between the duality of influence and being influenced while remaining the choice.

The research concluded that coexistence with others can only be achieved through familiarity and affection, and a person cannot live with others unless there is understanding and a desire for a shared life united by familiarity, dominated by affection and trust.
