Visual Thinking Strategy And Its Effect On Collecting Material Art Elements For Students Of The Art Education Department

Abstract
The aim of this research is to know the effect of the visual thinking strategy on the achievement of artistic elements subject for the students of the Art Education Department. The research goal is achieved through the following sub-goals: 1 - Designing educational plans according to the strategy of visual thinking in the subject of art. 2- Measuring the size of the effect of the teaching plans. The total of the research sample was (60) male and female students from the Department of Art Education, and to achieve the goal of the research, the researcher used experimental design with two independent and equivalent self-testing groups (pre-post), and the researcher prepared the research tool represented by the achievement cognitive test consisting of (30) questions, It was characterized by honesty and consistency, and the experiment lasted (8) weeks and after the application of the tool and using statistical methods in data processing, the results showed statistically significant differences between the average scores of the experimental group that is taught according to the visual thinking strategy and the control group that is taught according to the Aiqa in the usual art material elements at the level (0.05) in the achievement test of cognitive posttest for the experimental group. Through the results of the research, the researcher presented a set of recommendations, including: Using the content of the teaching plans in teaching the subject of art, as it includes a set of educational techniques and educational images represented by (artistic works) to help remember cognitive information. And proposals, including: The effect of the visual thinking strategy on the development of achievement among students of the Department of Art Education in the subject matter.
