Abstract

The aim of the research was to develop instructional units using a circular organization using a randomized approach to teach the skill of shooting from a standstill with a basketball for first-year middle school students. The research hypothesized that there were statistically significant differences between the pre- and post-tests of the two research groups (control and experimental) in learning the skill of shooting from a standstill with a basketball for first-year middle school students. The researcher used the experimental approach by designing two equal and equivalent groups (experimental and control). The research sample consisted of (40) first-year middle school students at Al-Abrar Middle School for Boys for the academic year (2025-2024), representing a percentage of (47.06)of the research population. They were randomly divided by lottery into two groups (experimental and control), with (20) students per group. The researcher concluded that the experimental group, which was subjected to the circular organization using a randomized approach, outperformed the control group, which was subjected to the curriculum followed by the teacher, in learning

the skill of shooting from a standstill with a basketball.
