Organizational Citizenship Behavior and its Relationship to the Professional Performance of Employees in the Sports Activity Department, Al-Rusafa II Education Directorate

Abstract
The aim of the current research is to identify organizational citizenship behavior and its relationship to job performance among workers in the Sports Activity Department of the Second Rusafa Baghdad Education Directorate, as the researcher used the descriptive approach in the survey method and correlational relations, as the researcher adopted two scales that had been used previously for studies that dealt with the two variables of the current research.
These standards were applied to the research sample selected from the research community, which is represented by employees and supervisors working in the Sports Activity Department, who number (25) employees. After completing the field procedures for the research and processing the data statistically, the results of the research emerged, from which the researcher drew several conclusions, including:
1-The organizational citizenship behavior among workers in the Sports Activity Department of the Second Rusafa Education Directorate is good, as shown by the results of applying the scale to the examined sample.
2- There is a highly significant correlation between organizational citizenship behavior and job performance among workers in the Sports Activity Department of Rusafa Secondary Education
According to these conclusions, the researcher recommended several recommendations, including:
1- Benefiting from the results of the current research and applying them to the rest of the directorate’s departments and their employees. .
2- Conduct similar studies related to organizational citizenship behavior and its relationship to other psychological and administrative variable
