The Effect of The Prior Knowledge Activation Strategy on The Achievement of Second-Grade Middle School Students In The Arabic Grammar Subject.

Abstract
The current research aims to identify (the effect of the strategy of activating prior knowledge on the achievement of second-grade intermediate students in the subject of Arabic grammar). The researcher followed the experimental method with partial control. The research sample was (64) students in (Al-Bayda Intermediate School for Boys( affiliated with (the General Directorate of Education in Baghdad Governorate / First Rusafa). The researcher rewarded some variables, prepared the necessary objectives and teaching plans, taking into account the opinions of experts and specialists. The research tool was a post-test for achievement. Ready-made criteria were adopted for correction, and some appropriate statistical methods were used. The results showed: (The superiority of the students of the experimental group who studied with the strategy of activating prior knowledge over the students of the control group who studied in the usual way.
