The Effect of the Strategy (List, Group, Name) on Reading Comprehension and Expressive Performance among Fifth Grade Primary School Female Students

Abstract
The current research aims to determine: the impact of a strategy (put a list, collection, poison) in reading understanding and expressive performance among fifth grade students. The researcher adopted the experimental design with the control group with the post-test, as it is the most appropriate design for the experiment, as this research was determined by fifth grade students of primary schools in Baghdad governorate. The research sample reached (62) students before exclusion and after exclusion. The number became (60) students from the fifth grade students in the Thuraya Primary School for Girls) affiliated with the General Directorate of Rusafa II Education, as it was distributed to two groups by (30) students for the experimental group and (30) students of the control group, which rewarded the researcher among the research groups In the variables (the chronological age of female students calculated in months, the academic achievement of the parents, the final grades of the Arabic language subject, including the oral reading scores of the students in the fourth grade of the previous academic year 2024/2025, the test (Rafen for intelligence) and then the researcher studied the research sample herself, if she studied the reading subject of the experimental group with a strategy (put a list, collection, cm), and studied the same subject for the control group in the traditional way, and the researcher prepared two tests, the first to measure reading comprehension included (26) paragraphs, and the experiment continued for a whole semester, and after analysing the data, the researcher found a statistical difference in the tests of reading comprehension and expressive performance in favour of the experimental group.
