A Comparative Study Between Traditional And Digital Art Teaching Methods In Skill Development

Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify (comparisons between traditional and digital art teaching methods and their impact on skill development in students). The researcher adopted a descriptive analytical research approach, and the research community consisted of professors from the Fine Arts at the University of Diyala, and a sample of 34 teachers was selected. The researcher prepared a questionnaire as a tool for this research, which consisted of two sections, each with ten paragraphs. The first section was about the development of artistic skills in traditional teaching methods, and the second axis was about developing artistic skills in accordance with digital education.After the experts approved the tool, the researcher distributed it to the sample individuals.

After analyzing the data, she reached a number of results, the most important of which are as follows:

1- In traditional education, the teacher is the one who sends the information and the student is the recipient.

2- In e-learning, the learner plays an active role, while the teacher's role is to guide and advise.

3- In traditional education, mistakes in skill acquisition are corrected more quickly and accurately because teaching is face-to-face.

4- There are teaching methods suitable for both traditional and digital education that can be used to develop technical skills in learners.

5- In digital education, educational content can be updated to suit the needs of learners.

6- In digital education, educational programs available on the Internet can be used to be general
