A Proposed Vision for Developing Practical Education in Light of Sustainable Development Dimensions for Faculty Members at the College of Education for Humanities

Abstract

       The current research aims at identifying a proposed vision for developing the practical education in the light of the dimensions of the sustainable development for the faculty members at the college of education for human sciences. The sample is consisted of (65) members from the faculty of the college of education for human sciences / University of Mosul. The researcher prepared a proposed vision to develop the practical education programme on the light of the dimensions of sustainable development. The questionnaire of the proposed vision consists of (30) items distributed to seven fields: (goals, content, teaching procedures of the practical education lesson, methods of teaching, educational activities, tools of evaluation, and implementation procedures) and to know to what extent they are exist in the questionnaire of the proposed vision . The researcher used the following statistical tools,  Cronbach’s alpha to measure the weighted average and the relative weight, the significant result which the researcher came with was that the percentage of the suggested proposal was very good and it was (77.9) in all the fields of the questionnaire and for all the members of the sample of the research, and also there are no significant statistical differences at the level of (0.05) for the sex variable (Males and Females) and years of experience variable (10) years less and more than (10) years. The researchers came with conclusions, recommendations and suggestions.
