Evaluation of the teachers preparation program in the College of Basic Education according to( CAEP) standards from the teachers point of view

Abstract
" The current research aims to evaluate the teacher preparation program at the Faculty of Basic Education, University of AL Mustansiriyah according to the (CAEP) standards for international accreditation from the point of view of faculty members. To achieve the research objectives, the descriptive approach was used. A scale consisting of five" criteria and 67 indicators It included the five (CAEP) criteria" (cognitive and educational content, field partnerships and" practices, candidate" quality, program impact, quality assurance and continuous improvement). The scale was applied" to a sample of (186)" teaching and teaching courses from Faculty of Basic Education, University of AL Mustansiriyah The results showed that the( CAEP) standard averages reached (3.28) and an average estimate from the point of view of the faculty members. The results revealed that the standard of cognitive and educational content was ranked first with an average of (3.41) and the College Quality Assurance was ranked second with an average of 3.37. For the candidate quality criterion (polarization and selection) It ranked third with an average of 3.25. As for the criterion of the extent to which the program achieved its objectives, it ranked fourth with an average of 3.22. The criterion of partnership and field practice ranked fifth with an average of 3.17. The existence of differences of statistical significance in the degree of achievement of the criteria attributed to the variable type, specialization and scientific title
