Abstract

The study aimed to identify the effect of a proposed physical education lesson on improving the functional neurological competencies and mental processes of high school students. The research community consisted of (200) middle-aged boys for boys registered for the academic year (2018-2019) and their ages ranged between (13-16) years and (6) students were excluded to conduct exploratory experiments on them, where the research sample included (30) students Of the third intermediate grade students, the sample was divided randomly by lottery into two equal groups, one experimental and the other a control, and thus the percentage of the research sample was (15%). The researchers as follows: The physical education lesson using the sensory-motor games curriculum achieved superiority in neuromuscular compatibility and the elements of kinesthetic intelligence and the scale of the growth of visual perception skills among the students of the experimental group. With the exception of the geometric shapes compatibility test, in which the implemented physical education lesson curriculum (followed) achieved superiority in the scale of growth of skills Visual perception of the students of the control group The students of the experimental group outperformed the students of the control group in the post-test in the tests of some elements of motor intelligence and the growth of visual perception skills.
