The impact of the Tudeh party on Iranian political life 1920-1945

Abstract
The Tudeh Party is one of the most prominent secular political parties that emerged in the first half of the twentieth century in Iran, and had a clear impact on opposing the Pahlavi regime during the reigns of Reza Shah (1925-1941) and his son Muhammad (1941-1979) in terms of size and influence. Especially after the fall of the first Pahlavi monarch, the change in the political space, the decline of the dictatorial atmosphere, and the relative opening of space for political forces to work in light of the new changes that followed the entry of the allies into Iran and its occupation of its lands in 1941.
