The effect of the modified learning cycle (7E'S) on the acquisition of mathematical concepts among fifth grade female students
Main Article Content
Abstract
The significant increase in mathematical knowledge, and the need for mathematical education for members of society, calls us to search for the most appropriate ways and means to deliver information to students. Hence, this research seeks to know the impact of the modified learning cycle (7E'S) on the acquisition of mathematical concepts among fifth grade female students. By testing the following null hypothesis (there is no statistically significant difference at the level of 0.05 between the scores of the students who study according to the modified learning cycle (7E'S) and the scores of the students who study in the usual way in acquiring mathematical concepts). The research was limited to the mathematical concepts included in the first chapters (groups) and the second (lines and angles) of the mathematics book for the fifth grade of primary school for the academic year (2013-2014).
