Abstract

Performance is considered one of the important elements in music and singing in general, as it follows rhythm and melody in terms of importance, if not in some cases of greater significance and importance than them.
Performance is the important linguistic movements in music (if we want to describe music as language). And through it, it is possible to distinguish between the different methods of singing for the various societies within the same country or between different countries.
It is the living element that dominates the melody, affects it clearly and makes it changeable from one image to another. It also has the same clarity in the rhythm, as it makes it vibrant in expression and has a greater impact on the recipient if it is used positively as a result of experience or if it is used spontaneously. The performance in Shaabiyat is represented by the spontaneity and spontaneity inherited and acquired from its society. As for the methodology (music and singing), it is represented by the sober study of its construction within the aesthetic expressions formulated by the author through it.
It seems, through the researcher's follow-up to the systematic studies that were presented about Iraqi singing in general, that it searches in the field of melody and rhythm and completely moves away from the element of performance, this element that represents the content of melody and rhythm, which is influenced and influenced by them so that the result is a style with special features for each lyrical form that differs from other shapes.
As for what is written about the performance and transmitted by newspapers, magazines and media networks in radio and television programs, it does not really represent the performance, due to the weakness and shortcomings of the speakers in terms of their understanding of the elements of the formation of the methodological performance and in most cases. Especially in the field of studying the rules of musical art criticism and the connection of those rules to the process of tasting and the philosophy of the beauty of music directly, which shows their presented information about Iraqi singing and music in its negative form in general, and especially when talking about the element of performance.
