الملخص
The research aim to identify the effect of educational program based on strategies to solve the mathematical problems to development aconnected mathematical at the students of the middle stage.
The research community includes the second grade students in the Directorate General of Education in Baghdad/ Rusafa (3),secondary and intermediate morning schools. The research sample was randomly selected by selecting two groups, one of thern represents the experimental group (group A) consists of 39 students and other group representing the control group (group B) consists of (41) students in kiarn Al-Mohammed school for Boys. The two groups equivalences in the variables (chroulogical age, achievement in math in the last year, intelligence, pretesting for connected mathematics and the previous information).After excluding the residuum and hosting students, the number of experimental group became(30) students and the number of control group (31) students.
To achieve the goals of the research, the researcher prepared educational program based on the strategies of solving mathematical problems and employed many of concepts and definitions of connected mathematics and a number of activities and exercises that fit the subjects of the middle stage, individually and collectively, during implementation of the 62 lessons. For middle school students, their honesty, stability and cykometric characteristics were verified.
The test of mathematical strength was applied to the sample of the students. After the results were drawn, they were started to be taught according to the educational program for the development of mathematical bond at the beginning of the first course (2018-2019), with 5 lessons per week After the test, a statistically significant difference was found at the significance level (0,05) and for the post-test.
The statistical methods used are: t-test and t-test of two connected and non-correlated samples, percent-correlation coefficient, Pearson correlation coefficient, alpha-cronbach coefficient.
The results of the research showed the following:
- A statistically significant difference was found at the mean level (0.05) between the mean scores of the mathematical correlation test of the experimental and control groups in the post-test and for the benefit of the experimental group.
- A statistically significant difference was found at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean scores of the mathematical correlation test (tribal and remote) of the experimental group and for the benefit of the experimental group.
