The most prominent problem the academic students are exposed to is the personality problem, how it may crystallize and become in the University medium, and how can this personality be because on it falls a great responsibility in looking to the future and coexist with it. The Histrionic personality the topic of the research seems confident and sure of self, yet this person does not feel love towards himself, as the holder of The Histrionic personality suffers from disordered characteristics and merits that do not permit him to harmonize with it and its surrounding in a natural way, and here the role of family emerges as the individual is affected by the depth of parental upbringing because the family is one of the most important social institutions. The research has a set of aims to be achieved by the researcher as possible, as the following:

1- Identifying The Histrionic personality among the students of the Basic College of Education.

2- Identifying the differences significance in The Histrionic personality among the students of the Basic College of Education.

3- Identifying the styles of social upbringing among the students of the Basic College of Education.

4- Identifying the differences significance in the styles of social upbringing among the students of the Basic College of Education.

5- Identifying the strength and direction of the relationship between The Histrionic personality and the styles of social upbringing.

          To achieve the research aims, the researcher adopted the scale of Qaddouri (2005) and constructed the scale of social upbringing styles. The researcher came out with a group of recommendations and suggestions which enriched the research.
